In modern Russian history, the Sochi-2014 Project is the largest project of integrated renewal of natural and resi- dential areas. The project investors shall pay a special attention to the provision of power and other resources to the city of Sochi and to handling any critical transportation problems. Delivery of equipment, infrastructure components etc. for the needs of the Project shall become a top-priority task already in 2010. During the recent Sochi–2009 International Economic Forum, the Transport & Communications Department under the Krasnodar Region Administration and the CHANDLER company have signed a cooperation agreement in the area of cargo transportation at the Olympic Games facilities currently under construction and at the other Sochi City socio-economic facilities.
