Project of transportation of over-sized and heavy weight cargo to Volgograd is carried out by Chandler in partnership with major ship owner Cosco. 21 of July shipment of the first lot of cargo from Shanghai, China to port Izmir, Turkey took place. Total weight of transported cargo during this project is 1130 ton with the volume of 6596 m3.
Preliminary planned date of arrival to Izmir is 20 of August. Further freight is planned to be sent on the river-sea type single vessel to the port Rostov-on-Don. Custom clearance according to Russian Federation rules will be done there. After completion of all customs formality cargo will be sent to Volgograd on the basis of already worked through logistic scheme.
